Exam's around the corner...

 Hey guys, I'm back with another blog and I hope u all are fine, I'm good too but a bit stressed as exams are around the corner and it's time for me to get down to work... I really need to work hard for a while till my 2nd sems over.

Apart from that today I had a good day, my day started a bit late but then I soon caught up with my other activities, tomorrow we have a competition for the non resident women students it's called eve's eve.

And now as we come to an end with the first year it's time for us to get serious with our studies and I hope I do well in the semester exams... To all my friends reading this I hope u guys learn and ace your exams...

All about today

 Hii everyone,

I'm back with another blog and I hope you guys like it. I had a late start to my day as I kept snoozing the alarm until I was really really late. Anyways I basically ran to college but to my surprise I wasn't late to my classes.

Prof DW gave us the first hour to discuss for our animal farm play... And it was a great way for me to start my day, I look forward to David Wesley sir as he's one of the best professors I've ever seen and he's friendly too... Most of the professors are friendly but David Wesley sir has inspired me in many ways... He's given me a different outlook to life and he's taught me to think differently now I can even look at an empty space theatrically...

So after the first hour we had few more classes and I bunked the 4th and 5th hour as my friends and I decided to go for the morning prayer fellowship, the fellowship was great today and after the fellowship I had my lunch there along with my friends and it was time for play practice.

To be honest I love acting in plays as it is so great to be around people and when we do those breathing exercises we kinda share the same mindspace with our co actors and I find that really special, so that was basically it we wrapped up play practice around 4 30 and got back home... And that brings us to the end of our blog...

My writing journey

Hii everyone,

I'm back with another blog and this one is quite different from the others, I'm here to share with y'all my writing journey... So I hope u guys like it and honestly I feel happy for every small milestone I've accomplished.

So down here is my first poem which isn't really a poem I mean it was supposed to be a poem, anyways it was written 5 years ago so I'll paste it down here and I'll give y'all an updated version of it. I'll also tell y'all few of the things I've learnt over the years in the field of writing.

2020's version:-

when a person feels  they are not worth and does all kinds of things to please you.

and you just don't  understand  why are they doing all of this for me 

and when you find out ...

they do all of this because they 

love you.

tears roll down your eyes and you feel  your not worth for them.

2025's version:-

Sometimes I don't know how worthy I am,

I do all sorts of things just to please you.

But somehow you'd never understand me

Cause my love isn't meant to be seen it's felt

But someday you'll understand that you missed a gem, and I know that day

You'll come back to me, my love...

Okay so basically this is it, I might not have changed a lot of things but I feel like grammatically I have made mistakes in the 2020 version but this time I haven't... And few of the things I've learnt over the years would be... 

#its not about how long it is, the word count just doesn't matter.

#the readers need to find it engaging and relatable.

#poetry is all about letting words flow, so don't be afraid to experiment with different styles...

And yea that's about it, I'm still learning, but I know that one day I will master the art of poetry... And I will not give up as I believe that it takes consistency and patience to archive great things...

The bond between sisters

 Oh look at you my little sister,

How tall and old you've grown,

I used to see you crying to father...

Whenever I fought with you...

The days have past and we're so old,

But those memories are more than gold.

Especially cause it can't be bought

nor sold.... It grows within us.

Well I knew one day we'll cherish

Those petty and meaningless fights

Some over water and some over switchs

And sobs and cries over glitches...

Well looking back now it's funny,

To laugh and giggle at our old selves!

Back then I would have burst a vein

With all my anger coming out as pain

I'm just glad that we grew stronger

No matter the fights or cold wars,

You were with me all along 

And that makes you irreplaceable.

This poem has been sitting in my drafts for more than a year now, today as I was scrolling through my write ups I came across this poem and I wanted to share it with you all, I would like to dedicate this poem to all those sisters out there... And from my experience I would like to say that sisters are truly a blessing keep them close and cherish them while they're near.❤️✨

A trip to st Thomas Mount

 Hii everyone,

Today was really good and it was another special day for me as my department's professors and seniors had organised a trip to st Thomas Mount...

The day was really good I wish I could say the same about the weather but unfortunately it was really hot and that made us tired really fast. But the journey was truly amazing.

Travelling with friends is a different feeling compared to travelling alone and for someone like me who loves being around people I felt very happy...

We had lunch together and I loved the way we shared the food equally we also had fun with our seniors and professors and Prof MSJ showed us around soon after lunch.

We also took many pics and I believe that these memories will last a lifetime. Overall I feel like today was amazing and I am looking forward to more such days like these. 

Once again I would like to thank my seniors, professors and all my fellow classmates for making this day truly memorable... I thank y'all from the bottom of my heart 💓

Mnemosyne day-2

 Hii everyone,

Let me start by saying that today was the second best day of this year, today was our department's event and it was day 2 of the event, the morning was a bit boring I sat with the registration committee but no one turned up to the events I was assigned too so my work ended really fast there...

Then I spent the entire day with my friends it was great and I know these memories will be cherished in the later parts of my life, so after spending a while roaming through the entire clg we decided to sit down at Selaiyur hall...

Then around 4 30 pm we watched a play directed by our senior hemanth and it was great the story was about untouchability and how it still prevails in villages, the play was really touching and inspiring it was also very emotional it almost made me cry...

After that we came to the end of our celebration the prizes were distributed and Loyola won the overall trophy for mnemosyne after the event was over we took alot of pics and I stayed back to help cleaning up...

After our work was done it was around 6 30 and we slowly left from our college to a tea stall nearby the best part was David Wesley sir also joined us which made my day very special  as he is my favourite professor so overall today was a great day...

The best part being walking through MCC at night and the second best thing was getting on a bike/scooty with one of my friends... To be honest it was a new experience as I don't travel by bike/scooty so it was fun even tho it was a short distance and the third best thing was I came back home by auto and I sat infront so I could feel the wind and it was amazing I just didn't want the day to end...

Mnemosyne day-1

 Hi everyone,

I'm back with another blog and tbh today was a really good day we had a lot of fun in college... So I had an early start to my day, I was in college by 7 30 and I met a doggy called toby who came for his morning walk I also spoke to one of my department's retired professors and I played with toby for a while he was a friendly labrador I mean all labs are friendly...

After I played with him I went to Selaiyur hall as most of us were helping out with the decorations for our event, basically mnemosyne is an event conducted by the department of English (my dept) after that I went to Anderson hall so the theme was "art will save us" and the guest speaker shared few amazing words with the gathering...

After that we watched a play put up by the students of our department and later on I went to have lunch.

After lunch I spoke to my friends for a while and we kept roaming around college I also collected my tee shirt I'm excited as we all will be matching in our mnemosyne tees tomorrow... Anyways the first day of mnemosyne was a success so I hope it continues the same tomorrow...
