I hope you all are doing well, I think it's been over a month since my last blog, I had my ICA's and a lot of other activities which took up most of my time... But now I've decided to be regular with blogging, I will start a blogging journey... I will post on two days Monday's and Friday's... The content would depend but it'll mostly be about my week and the new things I've learnt.
So today we had our 2nd ICA part 2 english presentation and my team did well, the teacher appreciated us and I was overjoyed by it then during the later part of the day I took part in a poetry writing competition so it was a on the spot competition and I wrote this poem 👇check it out and give me your honest feedback✨
In You I Find My Light, My Love, My Life.
I was all alone in darkness,
Nowhere to run, no place to hide,
Then suddenly I stumbled upon you,
The only one who knew my soft side.
I was pushed away, compared to others,
And told I’d never be the best.
I was always an option or should I say stand in...
But what about being the “One”?
My life could be compared to a fairytale
Without a happily ever after.
Or at least I thought so
Until the day I saw your face.
You were my ray of hope,
A small little flame burning
In my dark life.
Thank you for lighting up my world.
You took my hand and helped me navigate my path,
And pushed me towards life.
You made me laugh a little harder,
And your presence made my heart light.
